I Am Legend may not have been all that great of a movie but (SPOILERS) |
|
if you didn't get upset when the dog died then you are a heartless ass!
I watched that movie the day my Hutch got run over not knowing about the dog. Talk about boo-hooing!

2. I don't cry in movies. Some wonder if I even have a heart. |
|
But show an animal in a movie getting hurt and I am bawling my eyes out.

i even feel guilty for not boohooing over something that everyone else is crying about. it's very rare that a movie will make me actually cry though.

4. I think I was the only dry-eye in Titanic. And even though it was a sappy |
|
movie, it had lots of truth to it. I was sad about it but...
I did cry in the Passion of the Christ. I mean seeing that kind of physical abuse whether you believe or not. Well, it was harsh.

i didn't watch the passion of the christ. i'm a christian.. but i don't need to see someone being tortured on screen in order to believe. to me it seemed like it was just going to be a religious "hostel".
i like thrillers and horror movies.. but when movies have torture i usually skip out. i just prefer not to watch that stuff.
edit to add: i didn't mean that everyone who saw the passion saw it because they "needed to" watch it in order to believe.

7. I watched Passion because it had a lot of hype. |
|
I didn't "enjoy" the movie, but I am Christian also and it hurt me to see it. But it would hurt me to see it regardless. It was hard to watch. My husband had popcorn and I remember thinking that there is no way I could be chomping popcorn to this. I did feel a little guilty for thinking that Jesus looked hot in that movie. :P
And yeah, Titanic was sappy. But the real part was seeing all of those frozen bodies out in the water. And thinking that the poor people probably were not even considered when it came to saving lives.

He was never right after that dog died either. It affected him and sucked his hope completely away. That was so sad.

11. That dog was all he had for sanity. And she fought her butt |
|
off to keep him safe. It got her killed. I can cry thinking about it. Sweet baby!

12. husband says if you think the film is intense you should read the story... |

more bleak than the film, if you can imagine that.
We watched it on a bus for the kid's field trip to DC. Most of the adults were horrified at the amount of violence - guess they haven't seen many zombie, action or sci fi thrillers!
