1. Decades
My children have never seen me clean shaven. Neither have my inlaws and I've been married 25 years.

6. you sound like my dad
he hasn't been clean shaven in nearly 40 years. he jokes that if he ever wanted to disappear all he has to do is shave off his beard and cut off all his hair.

3. I went for about a month.
Then I shaved last week.

... haven't shaved since then though.

Of course it takes me about a week to get a 5 o'clock shadow.

4. 5 days, that's nothing!
When I don't have any obligations, like I'm on vacation or something, I can go...hmm...upwards of two weeks or so? Heck, I only shave about twice a week now, maybe even every other day, just because it hurts so much. I hate it.

I can't really go beyond about two weeks of not shaving, because my facial hair starts to itch, and when I try to sleep with my face on the pillow, it's like torture. Even worse torture than shaving.

So, I have to find that happy medium :)

12. After Ike ...

I went almost two weeks. Place of employment closed, couldn't even get out for a few days, water looked like sludge and smelled like sewer. So ...

I ended up with a goatee afterward I haven't shaved yet.

14. 6 weeks.
I like to grow a "thinking" beard when I'm bogged-down on a project...it helps me focus. I also break out the brier pipe and sit around in my underwear. I admit, it's a sight.

17. longest: 15 years.
Normally, I trim up every 7-10 days. But I only go clean shaven every few years, when I forget why its a bad idea. Then I do it, rue it, and remember why I don't do that. Now I have a wife, so I suspect the interval will lengthen significantly.

18. what is this "shaving" that you speak of...?
Ironically, I'm considering shaving my beard off. I undergo a facial hair crisis every January or so. Must have something to do with craving sunlight on my skin.

25. I shave every other day without fail. Even when I was 9 months
pregnant and couldn't even see my legs, I managed somehow to shave, not very well I am sure. I can't stand little pricklies. If the hair came back soft, I could probably go a little while.

43. I can go months
I don't think I've shaved since summer. I can't see anything unless my leg is really close, and even then it's quite sparse (and soft.)

and found I have these patches on my jaw where nothing grows. So I've stuck with the shaving since.

32. I shaved last in 1969.
I've been a bearded guy since then, always a full beard, but of varying lengths.

I shave nothing...it all grows.

These days, I look a bit like Santa.
