Saturday I drove to the gas station as I had a day's worth of errands to run. I walked into the store and gave the attendant $10 and told him what pump I was on. I then walked out and got in my car and left. About 15 minutes later I realized I hadn't put the gas in, so I drove back to the store. Luckily, the guy remembered me and said something like, "You back to get your gas?" I had a somewhat sheepish grin on my face when I went out to pump the gas. Then I realized my fly was unzipped. I felt like going home and back to bed...
Anyone else have a day like this one?

1. Maybe not that much in one trip |

but I know when I'm on cold/allergy drugs, my mind is so out of it that I try not to drive. Invariably, I'll make some stupid driving mistake or one time I walked out of the grocery store without my wallet. I had left it on the counter by the ATM thingy, totally clueless that I needed to keep it ;)
I think the store people noticed I wasn't thinking straight and held onto it. I realized when I got home that I didn't have it anymore and had to drive back to retrieve it.
