I get morning sickness every day now - except I'm a guy
Seriously, every morning lately I wake up nauseous. Whether I have no beer, or lots the night before - and I've even eliminated the usual suspects (switched from coffee to green tea)

But still, pretty much until lunchtime, I feel like I'm going to hurl. Later in the day, my stomach goes back to normal.

Is this something I should check out?

1. Yes, get it checked out
In the meantime, you could try staying away from spicy food & not eating the last 3 hours of the night.

Hey, is this a copycat?

2. Nope not a copycat - a real question
Spicy food doesn't really hurt me, but I've noticed the food has no effect on it.

6. Have your blood sugar checked
When mine went off the charts, I had several pregnancy tests because I was so nauseated all the time.

When do you eat dinner? When is your last meal of the night (do you snack before bedtime and if so, what do you eat)? Do you eat breakfast? Does the nausea subside after you eat lunch?

8. Nausea subsides a little after I eat
Thing is I eat a lot!

Take last night for example - I had a whopper after dinner!

I'll check blood sugar though

What I'm worried about is that I've been a member of the 6+ Advil a day club for a few years, and I worry the chickens are coming home to roost

9. Whoppers used to make me sick
I used to have a part-time job at a mall that I started right after my day job, so I usually only had time for something from the food court for dinner. Every time I had a Whopper (well, a Whopper Jr.), I got completely sick. I don't know what it was about those things...had to quit them cold turkey. Funny thing is no other fast food did that to me--nothing from McDonald's, nothing from Wendy's.

Anyway, if it is your blood sugar, you might be experiencing a reaction from jacking up the blood sugar with a lot of food at night and then having it bottom out by morning. Definitely something to look into, anyway.

I don't know anything about long-term Advil use--can it build up over time?

10. The Whopper was a one off
Usually I only have a protein shake at night, but after a full dinner around 6

7. I used to get that.
It went away when I lost my job. Weird. I wasnt able to get it checked out cause I have no medical insurance but I suspect it had something to do with me hating my job.
