"Hey, I saw you on TV last week!"

There was a TV team from the West German Regional News at the Democrats Abroad Inauguration Party last
week in Wuppertal. I was asked if I would give an interview, as my German was good, blah, blah, blah.

Now I know enough about TV news to know that only a small part of what they tape is actually used,
so I didn't give it a second thought. Today, my first day of being back here in the Rheinland during
daylight since the inauguration, the local fruit-and-veggies vendor told me I was most telegenic. I was
completely confused until he told me he had seen me on the news giving an interview in a piece about
the inauguration party.

If I'd known they were actually gonna use it, I would have told them my name was Dick Cheney.
