question for new england sports fans |
|
last night i was having a discussion with a friend of mine and his wife about hockey. during the course of the conversation i called the bruins the "b's" my friend knew what i was talking about but his wife did not. she said it must be some code that him and i use and that the rest of civilization does not call them that.
do you call teh bruins the b's and while we are at it, the celtics the c's?

1. Everybody knows the B's. |
|
I've never heard the Celtics referred to as the C's before.
However, I live in Lakerland. We have enough nicknames for that team.:P

7. I don't follow hockey, but I do refer to the Celtics as the C's. I think it was |
|
from listening to Bob Cousy and I think Tommy Heinson refer to them as the C's on the local broadcasts in the 80's.
