It wouldn't be worth it.
ON EDIT: Of course I know the truth behind all the bullshit they tell us. Saudis are running out of oil, Venezuela is running out of oil and they think Kuwait is running out of oil. So we invade Iraq thinking they have oil - guess what? They're running out too! That came out shortly after invasion, and no one payed attention but no one wants to face the 600 lb elephant in the room that is WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF OIL!

...there is something really sick about why these guys continue to die. Nobody I know would agree to cut off 600+ futures to keep their SUV's running...I am really stunned that more people aren't outraged.

Its all of our sons and daughters...
Of course the fact that the White House has been working double time to sanitize the deaths, sending them back in "transport tubes." I'm sickened by all this and I'm not a vet.
God only knows what the vets think about fucking "transport tubes," as if they were sending back supplies or something.

time to stop poisoning the planet......why can't the piggy class just say it? running out of oil affect poor people as much as piggy..... idiot bastards. the suggestion is the piggy wants to hog the remaining supply of oil like a junkie hiding the stash from a houseful of stoned relatives.... and undoubtedly this interpretation is right! friggin idiots! (excuse my american)

8. What really pisses me off about oil consumption |
|
Is that right now, if we were to invest our oil resources into finding a new energy source to last us another 50 years or more we just might be able to pull it off.
After 9/11 Bush could have asked ANYTHING of the American people. He could have told us he was going to stop terrorism by getting off our foreign oil dependency. He could of told us all to conserve oil and carpool BUT NO!!!! He fucking tells us to go shopping at Walmart. WHAT THE FUCK??? WHERE IS THIS MONKEY'S PRIORITIES????
And now, we are going to run out, without an exit strategy, with thousands of our children dead. With nothing for their ultimate sacrifice. Did we make the world a better place with their deaths? No it was for NOTHING.

The whole idea that it takes oil to get oil, and that the amount of oil it would take to extract the given oil wouldn't be enough....
Entropy, in essence...
But fuck the oil, people are dying. People that could have been our doctors, our dentists, our co-workers the new guy at work who needs training, the kid who blares his stereo too loud but always gets your dog when he gets loose, the girl who's dating your college son,
That's who's dying....not a bunch of fucking transport tubes as the Bush admin would like you to beleive....

made me a pacifist in the first place.
the troops or even the 'bad guy' or 'evil-doer' whos out there and wants to kill us/our troops, hes somones son, hes somone friend, probably somones husband or father. hes a person, just like the rest of us. and in this war we are doing nothing different to them than they are to us.
nationality is an accident of birth, to hate based on nationality is foolish. to want to kill on that basis is worse. people are people, and war dosent diminish the fact that its still murder, on both sides. no matter what the propaganda says. were all human, the're like us weather we like it or not.
thats my take on it anyway, and my response to all the ignorant right wing hatred in my area.

I had dinner with Dave Obey (D WI) last week and that was one of the questions he fielded. Oil is a perk, these people feel that it is their destiny to bring democracy to the mid east and they will then just fall in step. Bow and thank the great saviours. They are fucking delusional. Insane.

11. You mean there's a philosophy behind all this? |
|
some people in Congress see this as more than oil? That's really crazy in a very chilling way. Perhaps I understand greed more than I understand fanatic insanity.

13. thiers a philosophy, the closest thing i can think to compare it to is... |
|
... the communist satellite nations in post ww2, sure, those were mainly a buffer zone, but thier secondary use was to encourage communisim in the then-unstable governments of the area.
this is the same concept, but instead were trying to promote 'democracy' or so its called. its more of a puppet government i think.

Read over in LBN that alot of the deaths are newly arriving soldiers. I tell you one thing: dead boys from these small towns, everyone knows them. Everyone is pissed.
