2. She apparently doesn't even know what she's supposed to do |
|
The NSAdvisor was created to pull all intelligence about the security of the nation together, and deliver it to the President. He/she was to have no bureaucratic constituency, so that he/she wouldn't be tied to any particular outlook.
Basically, Rice's job before 9/11 was exactly what she was complaining didn't exist - someone to put the pieces together.

7. does the public know or realize this? |
|
perhaps, they'll 'declassify' her 'job description'. what you've said is what stuck out in mind throughout her 'testimony'.

19. Miserable Failure, of course. |
|
Jesus, she would have gotten fired from any self-respecting CEO, or "CEO-president" :vomit:.
Not only was she incapable of doing her job, she apparently doesn't even know what her job is.

9. So you are suggesting she did a great job as NSA? |
|
I suggest you turn your anger to the white guys she is being used by (those in the white house) not the white guys trying to find the truth about why our kids (black and white and brown and yellow) are dying on a daily basis; and trying to ensure it does not happen again.

10. Funny, I haven't heard anything that would even suggest |
|
that her race or gender has anything to with it. She was questioned openly and honestly (well, almost honestly, and only by some) during the proceedings. I suggest that you either read the transcripts or watch the available videos of her testimony before making such statements.

12. So if Condi was white or better yet, a white man? |
|
Would you be up in arms claiming that 'he' should be jailed for the crimes committed by 'his' bosses - ironically more pasty white men

16. I think it's more likely that Bush is a pawn |
|
in Condi's hands. I listened to an NPR report the other day that basically portrayed her as one of Bush's Svengalis, the other one being Dick Cheney.
I give her plenty of credit for being very Machievellian, and for having the ability to successfully push her own agenda. Not every Black person working for an evil regime is some kind of innocent pawn of evil white people.

21. i should have said "MAY be". |
|
thanks for the feedback. perhaps, someone might consider doing a short "du" bio on these guys/gals.
and , as for 'black and white', perhaps i should do a moniker change to: 'colorblind'. oh, but wait a sec, what about 'sexualorientationblind', or 'genderblind'. how does 'colorsexualorientationgenderblind' sound? or better, yet: 'sixdegreesofseparation'??? get my drift... :hi:

6. Her advice concerning National Security obviously was wrong |
|
Ergo, only one choice to make, miserable failure as "National Security Advisor."

She said the title of the PDB, titled Bin Laden wants to attack in America, that the report contained historical data not actual threats- so it wasn't really a warning that needed action. In justifying the war in Iraq they say they based their decision on historical reports like gassing his own people 20 years ago. So since they screwed up 9/11 their answer now is attack on historical reports.

15. She's not there to advise. She's there to nod her head and agree ... |
|
with the Bush/Cheney agenda. Anyone that doesn't go along doesn't keep their job.
She said it all when she quoted Bush as "not wanting to swat flies anymore." Meaning Bush wanted to go after Saddam because he didn't think bin Laden was worthy of his attention. If she had advised him to the contrary she wouldn't have her job today.
