8. I wish it was happy...

With all the death, chaos, destruction, and economic battering, amongst everything else going on this miserable rock of a planet, I find it difficult to celebrate the spiritual rising of a Man who couldn't even fix the very things He was sent to do. :-(

12. It's a work in progress!

And whether or not we choose to believe has no effect on the true meaning of the day, which I think of as having to do with new beginnings and a positive outlook for the future. There are always problems with this world, both global and individual, but if we can keep a spark of hope alive regarding the possible future, then all may be well.

Hey! It's spring, and there's snow on the ground covering up my newly planted tomatoes. Am I giving up? Nope. I'm going to hope they make it, and if not, plant some new ones.
