Donna Brazile - what's she smoking? |
|
I just caught the end of Brazile v. Baye Buchanan on CNN -- and the last words out of her mouth was something to the effect of "people will leave Howard Dean when they hear Clark's message... as well as Kerry, Edwards, and Gephardt.
Okay, I can understand Brazile shilling for Clark, but her words suggest that no one that supports Dean has aclue as to what Kerry and the rest are saying.
Was the beginning of that interview any better, or just more pure b.s.?

1. But before Clark came in... |
|
you expected the Kerry, Edwards and Gephardt people to leave for dean.
What's the difference? I mean, a poster with a handle like dean4america would surely be unbaised.

Unless Kerry, Edwards, and Gephardt are dropping in the polls despite Dean's rise.

Although he's low in the polls, his numbers seem unaffected by Dean. For example, in South Carolina, Edwards is the only candidate who did not yield any ground to Dean.

Just like they always are. They see things through a different prism. A prism of shame, greed and hate.

3. Donna ain't got a clue about Dean's campaign |
|
Obviously, she didn't look at the Gallup poll numbers that show a huge gender chasm for Clark.

11. She's not predicting anything |
|
she's trying to steer public opinion. And that's one of the things that keeps me in Dean's camp. It angers me that party big whigs have this paternalistic we know what's best attitude.

brazile: clark will announce by end of month``She staked her reputation on it at a meeting of the Utah Democratic Party.'' but Clark did not announce by the end of august. ergo, Brazile's credibility is shot.

16. Hey, when he finally gets a message, you never know. |
|
So far he has political Rah Rah rhetoric and a sincere smile. I support Edwards because he has a detailed BOOK you can get that tells you where he stands and what his plans are for this country. I am sure that Clark will develop a message, til then we just have to wait and see.
It is going to have to be a doozy, though, to siphon off any current supporters of other candidates, I think.
