The director of the president's Florida campaign will be former Jeb Bush aide Brett Doster, who two years ago helped organize a George Bush rally at the New York Yankees' Legends Field in Tampa.
The rally spurred a lawsuit from protesters who said they were improperly forced to leave the area. The Yankees identified Doster as the person who asked police to remove the protesters.
"They may have used my name, but I didn't have anything to do with kicking out a bunch of protesters, to the best of my knowledge," Doster said Wednesday.

2. Some called Jeb's office, said they were *fellow* Dean supporters. |
|
Some Florida Dean folks just wanted to say hello. The staff, for want of some other way to respond, started laughing. To their credit, they did admit that was funny. One kept telling someone *we are not a partisan office*, when they had not been accused of being one.

4. It's amusing that they did that..... |
|
but Jeb's rhetoric is not amusing...notice how he talks about "hot, angry followers." I think we are getting a preview of how the Repukes plan to portray Dean. They are so slimy. I almost despise Jeb more than I do W...he's more dangerous in a way, because he is not as stupid as W.

Some of our best Presidents were noted for having quite a temper. George Washington, for instance. Harry Truman. The key is that when they pait Dean as "angry" he's got to use that as an opening for explaining why being angry is an entirely rational response to 4 years of Bush. Fortunately, that's not hard to do.

I hadn't thought of it that way...it IS a rational response to Bush. (I meant no criticism of Governor Dean.)
