Is Dean really against all congressional democrats?

Dems in the House and the Senate have been fighting the good fight for years. Remember, it wasn't so long ago that the debate was not about universal health care or prescription drugs but was about Gingrich's proposal to bankrupt medicare. Dean was on the wrong side of that debate. How he goes from praising congressional Repukes to dissing congressional Dems makes your head spin. Congressional Dems effectively saved Medicare (and created it I might add) and have worked hard for a fair prescription drug bill. Perhaps Dean doesn't realize that Dems don't have a majority in the Congress. Maybe Joe Trippi should explain our system of representative Democracy to him and explain that you can't just do whatever you want simply because ou have been elected. In any case, Dean ought to get his story straight because even his supporters can't figure out where he stands on the all important issue of health care.

There are Democrats who have voted against prescription drug benefits or even worse worked with Bush to provide his fraudulent version of them. One can presume he surely means the first set (which includes both Zell Miller and Ben Nelson) and may well mean the second group.

THIS prescription drug benefit because it sucks.

The AARP is Dead set againt the current legislation and they have a great deal of pull on this issue. They want stronger legislation and are relying on Congressional Democrats to keep hammering at this piece of Crap.

again. I can't say I'm surprised, all along Dean has been running a phony campaign as if he is the only true Dem out there. If he doesn't win, maybe he should form a new party called "The Dean party", since he is sooo important.
