"Bienvenido Kerry!"
His Tucson supporters welcomed him with a dash of Southwestern flavor last night, waving signs reading "Bienvenido Kerry!" and playing mariachi music.

He cited his record, which includes time spent as senator, a prosecuting attorney and serving in the Vietnam War as his qualifications for president - things President George W. Bush lacks.

"This is not the time for on-the-job training," he told about 150 people who filled a room at the Tucson Firefighters Association, 2264 E. Benson Highway. The firefighter's union is endorsing Kerry.
