Any polls on Mississippi gov race? |
|
I know there have been two debates, but the only poll I saw was a meaningless one last spring, with Musgrove about 20 points ahead.
Everything takes on added significance post-CA. In particular, I would relish denying smug ex-chairman Haley Barbour, who even brought in Jeb Bush to campaign for him this week. Now there's a duo.
I read in a Mississippi online paper that the campaign has been viewed as overly personal and negative. Barbour is denying he is responsible for roadside signs saying, "Keep The Flag. Dump The Governor." Musgrove was among many who wanted to replace the confederate symbol on the Mississippi flag, but voters overwhelmingly rejected the idea in 2001.

1. I haven't seen any polls. Musgrove is a hard worker. Barbara |

Blackmon may have single handledly defeated herself with a call for Lt Gov Amy Tuck to sign an affadavit swearing she had never had an abortion. That has cost her quite a bit of support.

One governor there had to sign an affadavid he hadn't had sex with a male prostitute. MS is wild that way.

4. The last poll was in April 2002 |

http://www.dcpoliticalreport.com/stbyst.htmMusgrove:49% Barbour:28.9% Obviously, this poll is completely irrelevant so there really isn't any poll to judge how the election is going, at least according to dcpoliticalreport.com which usually has all the latest polls.
