nor are we "deluded".
Nobody camapaigning for Dean seriously expects the NRA to drop Bush in favor of Dean. What we do expect is Dean's position on guns to resonate with NRA members. Most NRA members are a lot more moderate than their leadership and that is where we see the political capital.
I have allways thought that Dean's skill as a rural campaigner will yield a better return in the South than just the gun issue.
