For those interested. There was some sort of rumor that Dobbs had said he wasn't ever going to have Clark on. Guess that is another piece of unfounded gossip.

1. Haha, I actually bought into that lie.
I've repeated it on many occasions. Proof that smear tactics and unsubstantiated lies can even fool Clark supporters..

2. Lou Dobbs is gonna eat him alive...
I wonder who the brain child in his campaign set that up...
I don't like Lou @ all. I believe he came back to CNN cuz he lost heavy dough in the stock market and needed cash...so now he's a working stiff just like the rest of us.

I do however think Clark is too Green to go on his show. Clark must first lose that startled stiff look and get a relaxed confident look.

I'm a Clarkie but I don't like this tactic @ all.

3. This is good news
First Hardball on Friday and now Money-line! The more he's on TV and the faster his numbers will go up. Plus, it'll get more people excited about his candidacy. I hope he's got his jobs plan and economic plan down though since it is Lou Dobbs. You've got to know your audience.

4. Dobbs and Clark
As I recall, Dobbs' objection to Clark being featured on CNN talks shows was in questionable taste since it was obvious, to Dobbs and most of the known universe, that if Wes had decided NOT to run, he would have said so. Instead he played out the "reluctant warrior" schtick until even supporters like me were fed up with it.

So, there's no inconsistency in Dobbs having Clark on his show now that Wes is a declared candidate.

HOWEVER...

I have no hopes that Lou is going to come out in favor of Clark. I expect another thinly disguised hatchet attack and will be greatly surprised if it doesn't play out that way. Clark had better be ready to explain how he'll stem the flow of illegals into this country, or have some good reasons why we should not.

We'll see.
