I know it is too early to start thinking about how much will be hauled in this quarter, but that is an awesome start.

I just called their 1-866 number.. I'm collecting unemployment benefits, so they can't take my money! :(

8. how do they know you're collecting unemployment? |
|
did you have to tell them?
the online contribution form makes no mention of the fact that unemployment funds can't be donated.
I had no idea that was the case.

Collecting unemployment, can't contribute to change the leadership that has created the unemployment.
OK, tedoll, hang on to those funds, I just made a donation in your honor. Happy Halloween! :)

Thanks so much!
I told the guy on the phone that I'd find other ways to support the campaign. I gave about $50 monthly before I lost my job in August, and I'll resume giving once I find another job.
Now, the Dean Store at the campaign's website - it's not illegal for me to buy things from there, correct? And the campaign ends-up with the profits, I guess? I have an idea..

There are many more things you can do beyond giving money to the campaign. Write letters! I am certain this is working: I received a reply from one of my letter recipients yesterday. Also talked to a staffer in Iowa last night who encountered no less than 5 people yesterday during precinct walking who got these letters and were thrilled. This is definitely making a difference in IA and NH.
I think you can buy things from DemStore without it counting toward your limit. Buy them and give them away! We need to get as many bumperstickers out there as possible...I'm starting to see them more frequently.
Meanwhile, good luck with your job hunt!
