Dean to be in Jax November 4.
FYI: Howard Dean Coming to Florida

On Tuesday, Nov. 4th, there will be a breakfast fundraiser in which Howard
Dean will be the featured Guest Speaker. It is to begin at 9:30 am at the
Omni Hotel located at:

245 Water Street in Jacksonville, Florida.

The fee will be $25, which will go to the Duval County Democrats.

Howard Dean Supporters Prepare to Welcome Candidate to City Supporters of
Presidential candidate Howard Dean are prepping for the Democrat's arrival
on Tuesday, Nov. 4th, in Downtown Jacksonville, Florida. Dean, the former
Gov. of Vermont, is expected to speak at a Tuesday morning event for the
local Democratic Party.

Howard Dean's appearance will be part of a $25 Fund-raiser, for the Democrat
Party at the Omni Hotel, local Democrat Party Chairman Clyde Collins said.

1. That's cool
If I had the time, I'd be there. I live outside West Palm Beach, so it would be quite a drive for me.

$25 is pretty cheap to see Dean speak. A lot of the fundraisers cost hundreds of dollars. I guess this is a Democratic fundraiser, not a Dean fundraiser.

2. I like that Dean gives his time to help raise money for the Dem party
and not just for his own campaign.

I had read a couple of months ago that Dean was the only candidate to have raised money that would go into a fund for whoever the eventual nominee is.

Low Buck. I live there.

The Omni is downtown, nobody goes there. I don’t think this will be a big one for him. We have a new Pug mayor, (a Bush type..rich daddy etc) that will probably arrange "traffic problems".
