I apologize if this gets long, but I hope you will read through.
In another thread, a DUer was almost admonishing herself for finding a headline biased--but the headline clearly was biased.
This gave me a thought: Perhaps DUers could take one MAJOR story--a real biggie, from one of the biggest papers/cable news/newsmagazines, etc., once a week, and comb through it looking for where the writer/editor "failed" at objectivity.
By this I mean parse every sentence, dissect every phrase, demonstrate a lack of an opposing viewpoint, really go at it--then submit it to the paper as a LTTE.
I did this as a sort of experiment with a WaPo article when the Plame story broke and it was astonishingly easy.

They will know we know the facts and are ready to see through what they do. I have a DFA meeeting in a couple of weeks and will bring this up.
