Enel completes 63 MW wind farm project in Texas with GE

MILAN, Jan. 11, 2008 (Thomson Financial delivered by Newstex) -- Enel SpA said its Enel North America Inc unit, alongside of GE (NYSE:GE) Energy Financial Services, has completed a 63 megawatt wind farm project near Snyder, Texas.

The two companies are also working together on another 101 MW wind farm project in Kansas, Enel said.

'Snyder is the first of a series of wind farms which will become operative in the next 12 months, allowing Enel North America to triple its wind power installed capacity,' said Toni Volpe, Enel's North America CEO.
