The difference is...in 2000 most showed Bush* ahead an average of 5 and not 1-2 AND there was no influx of new or young voters, both of which work for KERRY.

We're going to win.

1. They're better than they were then.
We are tied almost exactly. We actually are probably slightly ahead if they were to update their polling.

3. I Am Guardedly Optimistic...
Edited on Mon Nov-01-04 06:51 PM by DemocratSinceBirth
We are humans and as humans we are subject to doubt...

Before Muhammad Ali's epic battle with the younger and stronger George Foreman Budini Brown started to cry in the dressing room because he was afraid Ali would get seriously hurt.... Ali slapped him...

I digress....

We are essentially tied in the polls but we have three advantages....

Most of the polls undersampled Dems... We know Dems do better on election day than the polls...

The bigger the turnout the better Dems do...

Undecideds break against the in cumbent...

We can break even on undecideds and win on turnout and the fact that Dems were underpolled in the first place...

2. Absolutely! That's why I'm cautiously optimistic.
Barring widespread cheating, all we have to do is turn out to vote, and we'll win (knock on wood).

4. I'm optitiously cautimistic.
K. Here's da scoop. I have it from someone high up in the Dem committee that there is going to be an ELECTION tomorrow. He says that we should VOTE in it. I think he's on to something. If we turn out, we win, no DOUBT!
