3. The Democrats Better...
Be all over that. Because if Kerry pulls within 100,000 votes or less, I think he can make up the difference very, very easily.

18. I still don't buy the huge Bush lead in FL even w/o the absentees
That's ludicrous considering that Gore had won the state (sans the stop of the recount).

11. these are NOT the early votes, they are the absentee votes
and they favor Bush. Not to make this a downer but in 2000 the absentee ballots put Bush over the top in FL. because of the military.

Wish I could remember what the exact count was. It was pretty lopsided (absentee ballots.)

The early votes have been counted and are in the totals now.

Bush leads by 200,000.

16. BULLSHIT---there are no 1.6 million absentee votes in
Florida, you liar!!!
If there were, and they swung for BUSH, don't you think the Bushes would have been counting them BY NOW and trumpeting them?

These are the EARLY VOTES, some of which are by absentee.

20. I just called a Democratic official....he told me that.
He said that absentee and early voting had not yet figured in. Can I prove it is right? No, I don't have it in writing. I do know the figure of 1.8 million was quoted a lot lately as early voting and absentee......and said to be about a third of registered voters in Florida.

He asked someone else and they agreed. We could all be wrong, though, couldn't we.
