I can see more polarization. This is more than a election, this is a mandate on Bush's regime. If he wins, he can do whatever he damn well wants. He will start up the draft, attack Iran, give more tax cuts for the wealthy, and perhaps Patriot Act II or even III will be passed thus destroying what's left of our democracy. This may also result in (Heaven Forbid!) violence. You can only push people so far. I can see the tension on both sides hitting the boiling point.

2. We'll be unified under Republican rule.
Things are really gonna get good, with the economy, no help in Iraq, and fundamentalist jihadists on the courts.

Fuck. I need a drink.

3. Maybe that's what it will take to get people to wake up.
Obviously, as bad as it is, it isn't bad enough -- yet. But eventually it will boil over and I don't know what will happen then.

6. He won't pull it off.
He has run out of troops.
We are mad as hell and we are NOT going to take it anymore.
Besides, he is flat broke.

It is always darkest before dawn
and the sun is about to rise
on that vicious vampire and his Ferengi friends.

10. And if one of the 5 pro-choice SCOTUS judges retires or dies....
say goodbye to legal abortion, in at least most states. The Culture War will explode like never before. Although that may happen regardless of who wins.
