4. Screw that -- that's just what they want!
This is the time to get more involved than ever. Now we absolutely have to build up the grassroots organizations that got off to a good start this year, If Bush really does win all kinds of bad things will probably happen -- the draft comes to mind -- and this is no time to go all wussy on us. The progressive movement has become energized and that energy needs to be maintained, no matter what happens. If people turn wimpy just because of this election it will all be that much worse for us. There is much more at stake.
