OMG: Repukes SCREWED Up & Kerry Wins!!!
Voter Fraud in Florida & Ohio: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=132&topic_id=1292142#1292350

538 Electoral Votes Total - 47 for Florida & Ohio because of CONTESTING THEM = Must Have 246 out of 591 (I think?) and Kerry WINS.

The IDIOTS got STUPID about only messing with the election results in Ohio and Florida!!!

Somebody check the math -- I'm in SHOCK!!!

:)

3. It would be 246 if no electoral votes from Florida or Ohio are cast

4. Are you suggesting that contested states do not count?
1)Start with 538 EC possible.

2)Contest Florida and Ohio (47 total EC).

3)Deduct the contested EC from the total (538-47=491)

4)246 is more than 50% of the remaining EC

5)Assuming Kerry has 246 EC, he claims a victory?

I think your logic breaks down on point number #3. Contesting a state does not remove it from the total required toearn the Presidency.

Or does it?

Does anyone know?

7. There was more to it than that --
Remember what happened in Florida last time? The big fear was that their votes WOULD NOT BE ACCEPTED, only no Senator would support the Congressional Black Caucus. Think that's going to happen this time? NOT!!!

Voter fraud is being alleged with some serious proof. If it is true, then our guys REFUSE TO ALLOW THE ELECTORAL VOTES FOR THOSE STATES WHERE FRAUD IS ALLEGED, bringing down the total number required for a "majority" to 246 (math -- ?) AND KERRY WINS.

The IDIOTS got cocky, and only screwed with Florida and Ohio (see the thread in the original post), making 'proving' fraud pretty damn easy. KERRY WINS.

They got arrogant, and they SCREWED UP. YEAH!!!

6. Only if unresolved by January 6, 2005
That's the only way.

Mark my words, Kerry will concede long before January 6.

8. No, I don't think so. I need to go pull up my constitution!
I'm basing a lot of this on my memory of Florida 2000! :)

Stuff from Florida 2000!!!

“While Vice President Al Gore appeared to have accepted his fate contained in two wooden ballot boxes, Democratic members of the Congressional Black Caucus tried repeatedly to challenge the assignment of Florida's 25 electoral votes to Bush…. More than a dozen Democrats followed suit, seeking to force a debate on the validity of Florida's vote on the grounds that all votes may not have been counted and that some voters were wrongly denied the right to vote.” Susan Milligan, “It’s Really Over: Gore Bows Out Gracefully,” Boston Globe, January 7, 2001.

The Congressional Black Caucus effort failed for “lack of the necessary signature by any senator.” Sen. Minority Leader Tom Daschle (D-SD) had previously advised Democratic senators not to cooperate. ‘They did not.’” Robert Novak, “Sweeney Link Won't Help Chao,” Chicago Sun-Times, January 14, 2001.
