The Popular Vote is very interesting... |
|
How in the hell can there be that many more people voting for Bush over Kerry this time around after an unbelievably destructive four years? I believe there is something really massive going on. Bush definitely did not want to lose the popular vote again and I think they made sure he didn't.

I dont know what happened, but something just isnt right. How does Bush average 48-49% in all the polls, but pull in 51-52% of the popular vote? It just doesnt make sense with all hes done wrong.

2. I don't buy it either... |

Just look at his approval/disapproval numbers. There is no doubt in my mind that outright theft took place.

3. How does Kerry get a larger number of endorsements from newspapers |
|
and be the only Democrat besides 1992 and 1964 and lose the popular vote?

5. I honestly think we understimated the fanatical insane devotional love |
|
that the right has for Bush. I don't understand it, it's insanity to me, but I think it's real. When I voted this morning in a northern suburb of Atlanta (very Republican) the lines were amazing. In the rain. I knew in my heart that those were not mostly Kerry voters, and I really became fearful that we were underestimating the turnout from their side.
It actually frighens me. I think the moral police are going to reign supreme for the next 4 years, and I can't even bear to think of the Supreme Court.

7. It is not love of Bush, it is love of power. Bush might be a lame duck. |
|
If Bush becomes a lame duck, then see just how much love there is for him as the Republicans jockey for power.

10. You don't think the religious right actually look on him as some sort of |
|
diety like person? They never had this devotion to his father. I don't think he has done anything to merit their devotion. I think it has been a huge snowjob by his handlers, and I think 9/11 reinforced and cemented it for them.

6. Another thing I noticed |
|
Edited on Wed Nov-03-04 03:22 AM by neomonkey
In 2 states that had microscopic margins back in 2000 (New Mexico and Florida), suddenly Idiot King jumps 5 or 6 points.
Did the space aliens come and suddenly abduct shiploads of Democrats?
I don't get it.

8. Stinks to high heaven. |

Didn't want to lose a second term like Poppy did.
The senatorial/congressional races sound suspect, too.
Bunning, the 70- or 80-year old, who is senile & had to read a teleprompter on satellite during a debate with his opponent, has won re-election?!
And Daschle is losing?
Is there any way for electronic voting machines to be confirmed at all?!

13. NYTimes home page says it's 92.7% of the total counted |
|
7.3% of 100 million votes is a LOT of votes left.
