An impassioned plea from someone outside |
|
I'm not an American citizen, unlike the large majority of people on this website. I live in Australia. I have however, watched this US election and campaign closely, reading and listening to every piece of information that I possibly could (obviously that includes reading news and posts on this website). The rest of my family is probably sick and tired of hearing me complain about George Bush. Why, I hear some of you ask? Because me, like a lot of other non-US citizens know the election was no only to decide the direction that America takes, but the direction the entire world takes. This vote, is to decide not only the future of Americans, but millions and millions of people throughout the world. George Bush cannot be allowed to continue leading your great country. Because of him and the republican party, people in parts of the world are suffering, and I fear millions more people will if he IS NOT removed. Iraq, Afghanistan, who will be next?
They simply cannot be allowed to get away with another situation like they did with florida, the world simply cannot afford it.
The democratic party and anyone else who can fight this, MUST! I fear for what sort of world it will be for my kids to grow up in, if everyone must suffer another four years of George Bush.
Thankyou from a small spot in Australia to everyone who has helped John Kerry in his campaign

6. Eerily, I said something like this many many months ago... |

before nominations were decided even. I commented on asking Canada for help....Asked them to invade us, tongue in cheek, and bring DEMOCRACY back to our land!!
I sorely wish you good folks down under COULD help us. This is awful! Everyone worked their tails off to oust bush...We may have a shot if some fraud/improprieties are found in Ohio (state of)
We are waiting to see what the Kerry Camp can do about this HELL we find ourselves in.
Thank you Australia...:loveya:
