This country is dying. The environment, the economy, our young soldiers |
|
We can scarcely take anymore. Most of those Bush voter's lives are set to crumble along with the rest of us under Bush. They are going to remember who was fighting against this man. We should be there fighting when they they're spinning around looking for someone to defend them against these facists in this administration. Our agenda wasn't discredited just because it was defeated by a plurality of Bush cheerleaders. There is no need to shrink away from our principles or water them down to appeal to some mindless majority.
We are still relevant. We represent the other side of this madness. Stay active and involved. The revolution has already begun.

1. It's clear that America doesn't care about its soldiers or anything else |
|
so why should I? Why vote for the safety of the men and women in uniform (who are so misguided themselves to vote 80% for Bush anyway) when the rest of the country just cares about God, Gays, Guns, Tax Cuts, and who has the better personality???
I don't care. Let Iraq develop into another Nam, not my problem.

3. We are responsible even for the things we neglect or ignore |
|
They will impact our lives. We are responsible for the death of innocents at the hands of our military. Maybe we fail to stop them, but we are responsible just the same.
Think of the slippery slope of our neglect, greased by ignorance. How can we, in good conscience, turn our backs and leave the division of our contributions and sacrifice to those with the least need or merit? We won't find any refuge in our own self-satisfied apathy. We need to keep fighting for our country and for all of our countryfolk. We will need them to stand with us one day.

4. but they don't see themselves |
|
these soldiers vote overwhelmingly for Bush, so do there families.
It's like they want this too, I just don't get it?
So let them embark on this Iraq crusade, I think it's too late for them to see the light.

6. And the one's who didn't support Bush? Should they lose your support? |
|
I'm not as convinced as you about the family's support for Bush.
What about the one's who realize tomorrow what they have done? We need to allow for redemption or else we will always be in our own moral majority, talking to ourselves.
And we go over the cliff with them. You better not be convincing yourself that you can hide from the madness. We need to stand and fight or we will never be able to get anyone to follow in the future.

7. It's still a long way to the bottom |
|
Lot's of folks to be hurt over a long period of time. I don't want to commit myself or others to a plague of republicanism just because of my apathy.
