I canceled my cable today....i feel a little better

I need small victories b/c I am so freakin depressed. This election will cause me to become a more involved activist. I will start boycotting certain products, stop hanging around certain people, and look for a progressive place to live. I am not ready to leave the country yet but the thought has crossed my mind. If anyone has a link to a list of products to boycott, please share.

When I called my cable company I asked them the following rhetorical questions.

Q What channel is CSPAN on? A You don't have CSPAN
Q How much do I pay a month for services? A $45
Q How many channels show NASCAR events? A 5
Q How many country music channels? A 3
Q How many fox channels? A 4
Q How many religious networks? A 2

The US is being brainwashed on a daily basis and I will not support the media whores anymore. NBC and Fox called Ohio way too early. I will stick to newspapers online and AAR. Any other suggestions on how to stick it to them is appreciated.
