2. It's interesting. I remember Obama's speech about one nation and

now realize that many people DON'T think that. They don't think that we are one nation, north and south, black and white, Christian and Jew, etc. They think "It's my way or the highway" and we need to deal with it. We're not all going to come together because the religious right isn't interested in unity, they are interested in obedience to their beliefs. It's troubling.

4. I agree that educating Christians is the key to this all

they are being taken for a ride by the GOP. The GOP has gotten a free ride to the WH on their backs.
Abortion is now bent WAAAAAAAAAAAAY out of proportion to other issues.

6. We have to work on this

We have a lot of christians in the democratic party that can work on this and bring them around. The evangelical empires like Falwell and Robertson(who are money hungry war mongers themself) need to be exposed to take some of the demi-gods off the platform and the government out of the Bible. I bet if we start a investigation we can find GOP and church colusinon is illegal and very evident.

We should infiltrate.. Sing up for everything from the RW and see what the hell they are doing over there.

7. A near hopeless task

I have been telling Christians that this is a bad idea and would be counter-productive to the Church. But all I get in response is that they don't support any party, because they are all corrupt, but "if they had to choose" they would pick the pugs cuz they represent moral values and that we need to be like Israel in the Old Testament, where people worshipped God 24/7 and where sex was a sin. (except if you were high up on the hierarchy) but what these Christians failed to leave out was stuff such as sympathy, love or social justice. As a matter of fact, God destroyed soddom and gomorrha (two terms that they love to associate us w/) not because they were homosexual rapists, but because all of them lacked a sense of hospitality and generosity. I just hate it when Christians show me a bunch of Old Testament verses to support the pugs, though God HAS MADE IT CLEAR, that the behavior they are engaging in is un-christian. (see Matthew chapter 25 for more details) One day, when God returns, there will be hell to be paid. And I hope that some of my brothers in the faith wake up before that day.

8. I disagree

I think it is time to get out of the Church. I am tired of working on issues of justice and peace and people in my church nod their heads.....then vote for this fascist lot. I say take a stand.....quite supporting people who are C I N O 's. I say drop anyone in your circle of friends who voted for the fascists. I say stop talking to your family members who voted for the fascists. Big time stop supporting any businesses who are in with the fascists. I say take a club to anyone who wants to draft your sons or daughters for their fascist war for oil. I say lets get some signs and start protesting.......why aren't there any crowds in the streets of Manhattan Tonight??.........we put on big show in September, but why not tonight?? I am going into protest mode as of NOW. My flags are flying upside-down from now until the fascists are out of power. WELCOME AMERICA, TO FASCIST ONE PARTY RULE.
