1. Remember, "Nixon was The One" in '68...

...he was a bigger One in '72.

For weeks, when it came to the possibility of Bush winning, one thought kept running through my head... how Nixon abused his power to tamper with the '72 election, leading to his resignation in '74.

This would be one instance in which history would be best to repeat itself (along with the resignations of Cheney, just like Agnew did).

As "Randi Rhodes" on AAR said, "You can't tell me that thousands of people stood waiting in line for seven hours till 4am just to vote for the status quo."
