BBV: Our position is that fraud took place.


Help America Audit

Our organization has taken the position that fraud took place in the 2004 election through electronic voting machines. We base this on hard evidence, documents obtained in public records requests, inside information, and other data indicative of manipulation of electronic voting systems. What we do not know is the specific scope of the fraud.

We are working now to compile the proof, based not on soft evidence -- red flags, exit polls -- but core documents obtained by Black Box Voting in the most massive Freedom of Information action in history.

We need: Lawyers to enforce public records laws. Some counties have already notified us that they plan to stonewall by delaying delivery of the records. We need citizen volunteers for a number of specific actions. We need computer security professionals willing to GO PUBLIC with formal opinions on the evidence we provide, whether or not it involves DMCA complications. We need funds to pay for copies of the evidence.

There are certainly indications that a sting, or at least an investigation, is in play right now.

Strong indications that both Florida and Ohio would be flipped if election manipulations are rolled back. Some indication that fraud may have occurred in at least 30 states.

It's okay to use the "F" word. Fraud. You can say it in public. Pretty soon, they'll be saying it on TV. If no one else does it first, I'll be saying the "F" word on TV shortly.

Fraud.

We have just about hit rock bottom.

The only worse scenario I can imagine that would even drag us down further would be if in our quest to pursue the possibility of election fraud we were disowned by John Kerry and/or the DNC. We'd be out there on our own with our own party, and quite obviously, the rest of Red America, against us.

6. There's nothing pathetic

about wanting every vote to count. I worked at our precinct from beginning to end, watched the final spit of tape at the end of the night, and have verified that the numbers that night match the numbers on our County Election Board website. Anyone who had access to ANY numbers should do the same.

Well I am ready to give up, honestly. Only you freaks of nature on DU keep my hopes up. And I swear I love you for that and I'm one too.

I asked my husband, who always, always refuses to believe any kind of conspiracy at all(one of the biggest arguments we had when we were dating was that JFK was not a one bullet deal-he's very smart, he's getting a PhD and he does computers) just tell me in your gut does it feel right that this election was won by the Republicans getting out the vote and these numbers are true;

He said, NO. It feels wrong.

That's all I wanted. Some gut check that says it doesn't feel right.

He's ready to move on to 2008(another argument insued last night) or as he told me this morning, seriously look into leaving the country.

He doesn't like bullies. Just a gut check. I pray us freaks have more to go on, but I'll take it. I'm not crazy.

The mood in this area is somber. Like even Shrub's supporters aren't real sure this is real. They expected a fight and they never even rolled up their sleeves.

Surely there are a number of computer security experts who would be interested in investigating this. There are often posts there regarding electronic voting machines.

You can easily find nerds, liberals and conservatives who all uniformly oppose these new flawed machines. They are demonstrably flawed, their source code is closed to public inspection and the worst of them don't leave any paper trail.

You can make this a very bipartisan issue with difficulty.

Love that BBV site. I've had it bookmarked from its earliest days. Note how Harris is mentioning how the DMCA is going to be used to shield these dishonest and unreliable voting machines. And just think about some of the people who own so many of them. Senator Hagel comes to mind.

Let's get this straight. Bev Harris is on to something. She's got multiple org's working on this. She has been in touch with the FBI.

My bet is that we'll see the lawyers we've been hearing about coming forward shortly. Outstanding work by Kathy Dopp, if you haven't seen it yet. This work alone cries for a paper ballot audit of the optical scan counties in Florida.

Serious anomalies with central tabulators are showing up, in dozens of Florida counties.

The ludicrous flaw of the day is, of course, the Broward central tabulator that counted backwards.

This is an effort of many talented organizations. It would be a mistake to assume that the coming meltdown was caused only by Black Box Voting, though I must admit that we do kick ass. What you're going to see is the result of we, the people, collectively mobilizing to take back our vote.

Here's another thing, while you're letting the word "fraud" roll off your tongue: We do not have to accept a fraudulent election. Drop the idea that it's too late to correct this mess. We have a great country, and it is in our nature to roll up our sleeves and tackle tough challenges. We must not shy away from that now, in this critical time.
