Is it weird I'm watching the old Democratic primary debates? |

I just saw the the Des Moines Register debate on January 4, 2004 and the ABC News one on December 9, 2003 on the C-Span website. Knowing what I now know about these candidates and the election outcome, I must say I am still impressed with John Kerry. His statements and positions have always been consistent and clear and he has maintained this consistency throughout his campaign. He truly would have made an outstanding President.
In addition, I was also surprised by Dennis Kucinich. His statments on abortion and the war on Iraq are truly enlightening. For some reason, Clark didn't dazzle me, although I like the guy. He seemed too green in the two debates.

I didn't know those were out there, I may have to go look myself....
Of course you realize that I, like yourself, am a hardcore political junkie. By any OTHER standards, we are both completely bats. :D

My roommate said I was nuts for rewatching all of three Presidential Debates over AND watching the third party debate (Badnarik, Cobb, Petrouka) at Cornell University. I even for fun went back and watched again Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, John Edwards, and John Kerry at the convention earlier this summer. (I truly miss seeing Senator Kerry)
I swear I would die if C-SPAN didn't have these archived videos on its website. How I love thee!
