Something Smells About the "Road Trip" Blitz..........
Soooo, Georgie is going to take the SS issue on a 60 day road trip----ummm, right after the 30 day one that produced nothing but falling support for his scheme???? If he comes back with things the same, or the same pattern occurs and the support keeps falling, it's more than his SS that is DOA. It's a bullhorn announcing to D.C. that the Emperor doesn't have any political capital left (if he had any at all). That translates into rats pulling away from him (well, the good may be that it would detatch some of our Dems from his hind tit). It means Bush will basically be a lame duck for the next 4 years instead of just a lame brain as usual.

So, what's their (Rove's) plan?? Using our tax dollars to give phoney SS announcements that are Bush ads?? Getting those whores in the media back in line with their prepared propaganda reporting??? Pushing that lovely ad attacking AARP?? Whatever---this I do know: like a lot of you pointed out here, the Dems have to win this one or this party is toast. I suggest that our politicians don't just sit in D.C. and see what Georgie drags home and then vote on what he tells them is politically popular. They (and the AARP, unions, etc.) better dog this vermin around at every stop and blast the airwaves with ads. It's cock fighting time.

9. He's obviously planning to create some media illusion of support,
I don't know how he's going to get away with it this time, however, now that we're on to him. I think the blogs can now go in and show America how contrived these town meetings are. With the opposition corralled in First Amendment zones; and only people willing to sign loyalty oaths allowed in the auditorium. I think they're now ready to listen.

2. All KKKarl has to do is buy a few major polls.
They will deliver him results that are cooked like a pot of turnip greens. The Ho Media will broadcast these numbers 24/7 and enough Murkins will believe "it's true, 'cause I saw it on the news" to give bu$hler the razor thin "majority" he needs to git 'er done.

Next question, please.

6. We like dimwits more than those who can speak clearly.
We like propaganda more than truth.
We like cheap credit and plastic shit more than American jobs.
We love Survivor, American Idol, and the Newlyweds.

Like every great nation that fell before us, we have chosen to put style above substance. Our president is the perfect image of this and he is working diligently to make sure he is the last president of a once fine union.

4. Mark your calendars!
Sixty days from today is May 2. Be sure to write your local papers on March 21, April 2, and April 23, asking where the president is on his Bamboozlepalooza tour. You know for a fact that he doesn't have the attention span to follow through on this, and after a week or two of half-hearted support and downright hostile receptions, he's going to want to head back to the pig farm and play video games and drink himself stupid(er).

We let him off the hook when he didn't follow through on this promise of weekly speeches about Iraq last year. He did one, maybe two, and when there was no adulatory response, the plan got scrapped. Keep this one in front of the media -- they seem to need a lot of help remembering from one day to the next what this corrupt administration says, especially when what it says doesn't match up with what it does.

I LOVE it! Now is the time to see to it that local media outlets get their fair share of LTTEs jumping on the astonishing inconsistencies of his SS destruction plan.

10. grat----your post reminded me of something in the announcement of
this trip. It said Bush AND members of the administration (or some such verbage) were going to go o this 60 day tour. You are correct about his 'staying power'. If he is met with thousands of cheering fans, Mr. Rock Star will stay on tour (and he won't have those kind and number of crowds---did you see the ones he had last time around??--they were hand selected and couldn't get up enough enthusiasm to scratch their butts---even had to resort to high school kids who looked like deer caught in the headlights)!!!! If he isn't adored, he will come back home to government 'business' that just couldn't do without him and the underlings will take over. That means he will fail to get support BUT when it is flushed by the Congress, it will be blamed on baaaad underlings and not Mr. Rock Star.

14. Dime-bag Dubya is out trying to sell his snake oil again. However,
the people are fed up with him, his administration, and the prostitutes they let in to ask him the easy questions like . . . "Don't you think it's wrong for Hillary Clinton and other far to the left Liberals to disagree with you during a time when our young men and women are dying fighting for oil bubub, I mean freedom? (not an exact Gannon/Guckert quote).

The Republicans and their Stepford Bitch, Coulter, keep bringing up the fact that it was a GAY whore site. That now the Dems are against the GAYS. Never said that but that bitch won't shut her hole long enough to listen to anyone else.

It's not the fact the man was gay and got a white house press pass you blonde pond scum. It's because he used an alias and he was advertising for a male prostitute. He is a whore Ann. You should understand this since after all you are . . .

the summer before 9-11 and Uncle Dick was outta sight?

As a WA state resident, I'm a bit concerned that none of the bajillion $$$ spent on this so-called "war on terruh" went to improve port security. Meanwhile, "Homeland Security" okayed a $50,000 grant for Thurston county to find a machine to shrinkwrap corpses to make cleanup easier after a massive disaster.

11. Mark my words: Bush will WIN
I'm telling you and everybody I know: If we don't fight back soon and hard with the same tactics, this SOB will win!!!

He's done it before and he'll do it again.....

watch for mysterious "polls" showing more and more Americans AGREE with Bush.....

watch for round the clock coverage of his "town hall meetings"....

watch his media whores tell how Bush is gaining strength each day...

Watch for more villanization of AARP and Democrats...

It's all happening again folks.....

also another word of warning:

Have you noticed that more Republicans and their press releases are linking Social Security and MEDICARE?

Medicare may be the real target because there is a financial problem with it......and it will bear great rewards for Dubya's supporters....

13. ewagner....that's why the Dems better realize that THIS IS the fight
happening right now. They can't wait until he gets back to D.C. with his "poll numbers". They have to aggressively follow him around and tear him down so that there are no "poll numbers" supporting him. It's too late to fight once he gets back and dumps it on the table. AND, you are so right about the Medicare connection. In that shadowing him around, the Dems need to scream "and Medicare is NEXT". Jesus they have to learn to fight. If they have to 'stay home' and not be on the road, then they should let Dean go out and do this job of dogging him (and stuff their goddamn DLC nervousness before this party is totally flushed)!!!

15. I don't know, they were fine to get all riled up about the gays, or "those
brown people who some say aren't ready to run their own country" or just the plain old "terraists". The sheeple could be afraid from a distance, they could slap a "support our troops" magnet on their SUV or pat each other on the back for being such "Gawd fearing Americans" - but they went on with their lives and it didn't really affect them.

But now it comes home to roost.

This SS is the money that comes in every month to pay their parent's light bill - and will come out of their pocket if the check dries up.

This is the money that they've sort of breathed a sigh of relief over since their 401K's took so recent of a plunge with Enron, WorldCom and all the other corporate bullshit. It's too recent, too many people (like my dad) saw that money just pissed away in the market, and sat down with calculators to figure out how they could still afford to retire on just their SS check.

The biggest message we have to get out there is really simple - Remember Enron/Worldcom and the Dot.coms - THEY are your new retirment TRUSTEES.

there are idiots who believe Dubya's make the pie higher claptrap. I heard one on C-SPAN today, telling us all the elected Democrats just don't want the people to get wealth because then nobody would vote for them. Yeah, buddy, you're gonna get a lot of wealth putting 2% of your FICA contributions in a stock picked for you by Cheney's pals. :eyes:

27. might be too late for most Americans.
I believe that for most of the "tow-the-line" Republican voters in this country it will already too late before they realize what happened to them. They will be donating, gun and card carrying Republicans they poll to garner fake support for the SS plan. But for many of those who unwittingly support the party most responsible for keeping them in the poorhouse, it wont be until thier aging parents are now unable to keep up with the costs of day to day life. When that money starts coming out of thier own pockets, HOPEFULLY they will wake up and finally see what thier advocates have been doing to them all these years behind a veil of lies.

He has been beaten on the SS plan he threw out there, won't accept that fact, but what next in order to prove his brilliance and his Lincolnesque assumed personality is the greatest thing since sliced bread? Don't know.

> So, what's their (Rove's) plan??

Yes
> Getting those whores in the media back in line with their prepared propaganda reporting???

Yes, and , and more phoney journalists shilling for it.

> Pushing that lovely ad attacking AARP??

They are making some new ones. You can bank on that.

> Whatever---this I do know: like a lot of you pointed out here, the Dems have to win this one or this party is toast.

Of course! Social Security is the most sacred cow in Washington.
They've been robbing the trust fund blind already, along with the
rest of the Treasury, and they have no intention of paying us back.

> I suggest that our politicians don't just sit in D.C. and see what Georgie drags home and then vote on what he tells them is politically popular.

Not a chance. They want to stay alive and in office.

> They (and the AARP,

They caved in last time. I'm surprised they're putting up a fight now.
We'll see how long they last.

> unions,

Unions are dead.
Surely you must have noticed their absence in the recent election campaign. They have been ailing for years, and outsourcing has
finished them off for good. Most of their members are listening
more to their preacher than to the union guy.

> etc.)

"etc." is us, I think.

> better dog this vermin around at every stop

They won't let us near him, or near the media covering him.

> and blast the airwaves with ads.

If the Republican media deigns to run them.

> It's cock fighting time.

Yeah. Nothing fair about it.

And if it looks like the Rethugs are going to lose despite all this,
there's always MIHOP, after which they can
do whatever they want.

I just hope they don't decide to invade (Iran? Syria?) using a Draft that is initiated by a staged catastrophe in DC while shrub is conveniently elsewhere.

All those bioscientists getting killed freaks me out. And the USA anthrax that targeted Rather, Brokaw, Daschle, Leahy last time... who will get it this time?

28. I hope they do.
The Repugs instituting the draft would be the best thing that they could do. Nothing they could do would wake up the general public faster than the draft. It affects everyone but the rich right in thier own lives and homes. Dems and Pugs alike. This would be a SOLIDLY Democrat country almost instantly.

Well, thats my opinion anyways. I under no means support the draft in principle, and it would be a tragedy to the American public. But it would be a clear tragedy committed by a Republican agenda to further thier own plans and line thier already deep pockets using the blood and tears of thier people to do so.
