Anyone else watching Leslie's play-by-play of JP's ride home? |
|
Excuse me, but what the FUCK?
How is a man getting a ride home from the hospital breaking news worthy of minute by minute coverage? Now he's got Trent KKK Lott on with him?
Yeah Trent's a great friend of Catholics, I'm sure :eyes:
Slow news day over at the Corporatist News Network, Leslie?

He got released from the hospital, and Leslie was giving the play by play of his ride home to the Vatican.

7. I think he/she meant PJ.....Pope John...I don't understand why the leader |

...of a church is such big news anyway...and I was raised Catholic. The news organizations treat him like he's Christ on earth or something.

5. The Holy Father is a rock star. |

I know you all hate it, but there are 1 billlion Catholics and no other religious leader has the stature of the Pope. I am a Catholic, disagree with him on LOTS of things, and when in Rome cheered "Papa, Papa" on Sunday morning in St. Peter's Square.

9. Nothing anti Pope or anti Catholic implied here. |
|
Reporting the fact that the man was released from the hospital would be one thing. But endless commentary on his Mercedes mini-van (and "why isn't he in the Pope-mobile?") is just a bit much. And as I said before, why the Hell would you bring in a racist Klansman Senator to comment on the Pope? Last time I checked, those idiots considered Catholicism a "pantheistic cult" or something like that (they probably couldn't spell "pantheistic")
