Bush moves to open Yellowstone National Park to drilling
....

The Thoughtful Liberal Act is failing horribly. It's time to lie and just make shit up to suit a purpose.

4. Off-shore oil drilling leases along the entire American coastline
...from Maine to Florida and throughout the Gulf of Mexico, all around Hawaii and in every national and state park of the country. It's in-your-face oil exploitation at its slimy best and nobody can stop the Bush juggernaut.......:hurts:

5. That's too close to reality to make a good rumor
If there were oil under the White House, Bush would have it demolished to set up the rigs. Oil under the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier? Dig that bastard up, heh heh heh heh heh.

6. Close...Bush wants to sell mineral rights to adjacent lands
there is a vanishingly small amount of gold in them hills that foreign investors are interested in.

Hey, what could it hurt? I mean considering its all going be blown up by an overdue supervolcano eruption anyway?

It's time to cash in on these things before it is too late.

7. Not too far from the truth.
There are public lands in the Yelowstone Park area, that's supposed to have a high oil and/or gas potential. It was widely suspected at that time, that ANWR, which doesn't have all that much prospect, was merely a stalking horse for the far larger potential in the Lower 48. There are a lot of other public lands that also have such a potential. The primary advantage of ANWAR was how well it could be sold to certain unions --- Teamsters, Building Trades, and Maritime.

If that CREEP accomplishes nothing else out of ANWR other than creating a fissure in the labor movement, he can count it a huge success.
