I cannot find the Dems/'pubs rollcall & vote list for the Schiavo bill anywhere.
When I do a barebones browser search by bill number at thomas.loc.gov, I get this:
"Method Not Allowed
The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL /index.html."
This has nothing to do with cookies, it's a javascript thing & you have to have it on to use the LoC. Why is a *.gov site requiring use of an untested, unrated technology like javascript? I think they're using XSS or cross-site scripting snoop technology a certain way to collect data to use later:
http://www.net-security.org/article.php?id=596The Schiavo bill was labeled in the press as H35-E but according to loc.gov it's HR 1452 IH, or is it? My D.U. reporter's confidence level / rating of U.S. operated *.gov archives is so low now it wouldn't surprise me if the final version has been stricken from the public record for some idiotic reason.
I want transparency & standardization in my government NOW! When is the coup and the clamp on dissemination of public information going to end?
