Don't let the media try to flip the Schiavo debate!?! |
|
I'm sitting here watching BSNBC and they are attacking Democrats for not trying to stop the republicans on this Schiavo mess. Even the republicans are whining about the Democrats not being mean enough to them about it.
It's sad that all Democrats haven't taken this issue but it's an issue that shouldn't be politicized in the first place!
Don't let Rethugs who know this issue is a stinker for them try to flip it onto "blame the Democrats for not speaking loudly enough on this family's private matter!!"
Republicans truly live in bizarro world. A bunch of idiots.

that keeps insisting that this woman is 'disabled' no matter how (s)he's been shown the difference between disabled and dead.

10. I have noticed that myself |
|
and it is a cheap way to blur the issue. Is she disabled? sure. Is she incapacitated, sure, but the commone usage of our language is NOT one which denotes Terri as in the same catagory as a paraplegic.
These people are trying to spin the issue and you know what--it is plainly and simply dishonest as well as a little disgusting.
The truth is that Terri Schiavo is in A PERMANENT VEGETATIVE STATE--that is her diagnosis, and if these people cannot call it that, they are trying to spin the language in order to promote their pro-life issues and that is
DISHONEST.

2. Hey, why should the Dems be charged for them stepping in this steaming |
|
pile of crap? It shows how desparate they are. People will begin to see this for what it is...the American people know that all three houses are owned by the GOP...they own this.

7. Yea, exactly. Democrats shouldn't be using this as a political point |
|
but should stand back while the republicans practically implode.
Just that clip of Frist mumbling about this situation dooms his presidential ambitions.

3. I was watching and it seems crazy but, I swear, I see a lot of that around |
|
here sometimes.
Ron Reagan was bitching about the Democrats not fighting this and how that is why he isn't a Democrat.
They aren't discussing the idiocy of what the Republicans have done. No, the issue is why didn't the Democrats stop them when the Republicans control everything.:eyes:
Republicans blame Democrats for everything and, way too frequently, liberals blame Democrats for everything.

6. Yeo, it's ridiculous. Who cares about the people actually doing the bad |
|
and there are some Democrats out there trying to end this madness. Now they are rambling on about a memo!!
I think republicans probably leak this shit just to complain about something to take the heat of their own dumbass actions.
