Good news inferred from Ann Coulter ... the righties HATE Dr. Dean. |
|
Edited on Wed Mar-30-05 06:43 PM by Pepperbelly
I watched the videotape of Ann getting heckled at KU and read some of the coverage. She spent most of her time trying to trash Dr. Dean. That pleases me to no end.
She does not wish us well and if she is disgruntled by Dr. Dean and shouting about it at her appearances, it means that she is getting her marching orders from whoever now orders the elf around and someone thinks Dr. Dean should be taken down a peg or three.
I greatly favored Dean when he announced that he wanted to be DNC chair. At the time, I believed that he would be a great asset to the party at the grass roots and that he would bring considerable energy and dedication to the job. To have that be true AND he is a headache to the gop power structure, it's like a cherry on a bannana split.

1. I view derogatory comments by Coulter a compliment. |
|
When her vitriol spews from her mouth about Dems, you know that you've drawn "blood" against the Rethug machine.

2. I love it when the wingnuts trash Dr. Dean! |
|
They prove daily that they just don't "get it" about him! The more they trash him, the more curious the people become about him, for one thing. For another, he is allowed to fly under the radar without a lot of notice (since he's "just a nutcase") and he is doing a FANTASTIC job at the local level! The Democratic Party is being rebuilt from the grassroots up and they aren't seeing it coming!

3. They hate Dean? Well they despise Clark |
|
And why? Because he's ex-military (professional, no short-timer he), articulate and... worst of all.... they got no dirt on him.

5. It's sad that we have to look at who they hate to know we're doing well. |
|
But if that is what is necessary, then so be it.

6. In this rather odd political environment ... so rich in ... |

misdirection and lies, sometimes these are the things that most reflect the state of their inner reality.

9. Of course, they said the same kinds of things about Tom Daschle... |
|
...so it's probably not worth getting too worked up about.

12. They hated Daschle for two reasons ... |
|
First, because he denied them several things that the Boy Emperor wanted ... more of his shit-sipping, goose stepping judges on the bench, ANWR, and second because they have to put a face on their enemies because their attacks are personality driven rather than fact driven.

13. Right on both counts. |
|
But Daschle was not a winner, and that is my point...they will hate everyone we have, so the one they yell most loudly about is not necessarily the one they fear the most.
Someone else mentioned Clark here. The Republicans pretend he doesn't exist, and pray everyone else will too.

8. They are scared to death of Dr. Dean... |
|
... because he know how to use their rhetorical tricks, how to frame an issue and he's not afraid to say what he thinks.
A party that is of the propaganda, for the propaganda and by the propaganda cannot survive with many Deans around :)

11. And because he is smarter than them. |
|
An experienced MD who governed a state, ran for President, and runs the opposition party?
Howard Dean is smarter than every Republican alive. That is why they are scared.

20. What Ann Coulter thinks = what kind of shit a rat takes in a trash bin |
|
Edited on Wed Mar-30-05 09:33 PM by zulchzulu
The fact about what Coulter thinks about ANYTHING is a useless and meaningless effort that reaps only stupidity, which is brought about by self-loathing.
