11. No, get a giant Schnauzer instead, their big, fantastic guard dogs,

especially in pairs , they are used as police dogs all over Europe. I have one, had two until last Sept., On their own they devised a system of taking turns with who would sit in the front of the house and who would be in the back. They had an incredible communication system that you could not hear but you could see in action everytime the squirrels would come to steal the bird food. The UPS guy, mailman and anyone coming to the door is obviously intimidated. Its been worth it just to see solicitors run away from the front porch.
