Remember when John Kerry said "healthcare should be a right"
and the convervatives mocked that, didn't they?

Talking out of the other side of their assess now

KERRY: “When it comes to healthcare, let me tell you where I stand. I believe healthcare should be a right, not a privilege. But under George Bush, healthcare has gotten so expensive, it’s become a privilege middle class families can’t afford. In the last four years, five million more Americans have lost their health insurance. That’s wrong.”

1. Support Kerry's healthcare plan
John Kerry has a healthcare plan for America's needy children. The best thing about it, besides being good for the kids, is that he plans to fund it by rolling back some of the tax cuts to the wealthy, not by raising taxes. Check out his website and send your support.

3. middle class here, ready to go toothless for the cause
in my fourties. went a little long without dental care. my dentist died, i had babies and no babysitters. went in and wow..........all i learned. cant get dental insurance. peopple literally laugh. i have a 1000 dollar teeth cleaning going on now. and there are some more i have to do to my teeth.

all this has to come out of pocket.

our health insurance went up significantly and we had to increase co pay and deductable. still went up 400 a month. for employees too. we are ready to stop for employees

for the last couple days, i have been so angry, angry at this country. if i am having a tough time with all this, what about all those making less than us. we do ok. dont want to spend my money on this. money we work hard to save. so in case of emergency, lol lol. but i do have the money.

this is serious here in the u.s. maybe i am just now getting it, because i am just now getting to an age where i need it. but i am truly amazed more people arent outraged

just another one, i am amazed more people arent outraged

6. Kerry's statement sounds better today than when he made it
I know it's been only a short time - the difference is that then it sounded like typical campaign promises, although it was a good plan. Now, it represents what might have been. Although Kerry would not have had an easy time cleaning up Bush's mess, at least he would be going in the right direction. We could have been proud of our President.
