Have the Swift Boat lying Bastards checked
the record of the Soldier receiving the Medal of Honor posthumously today at the White House? After all, he was in a combat zone for less time than John Kerry was in Vietnam. How could he possibly be a hero? And even though he was killed, how really serious were his injuries (try to think like a conservative.) And there is an excellent chance that the Soldier was a liberal because we know that chickenshit chickenhawk conservatives only support our troops by acting macho while with a large crowd of their own, waving tattered flags and avoiding, at all costs, Army Recruiting Offices. How else to explain the Army missing goal month after month.

FORGIVE ME FOR RAMBLING. I'M JUST A CONSERVATIVE HATING OLD VETERAN LETTING OFF A LITTLE STEAM THIS AM.

Unfortunately, the SBVT group is so intellectually dishonest that they'd NEVER admit this...

2. I too see a little photo op
in this situation. I would really like to see the after action report. I read some of the details available and well, seems a little thin for CMH. When the war goes badly find a hero i suppose. Get the goose steppers all hot and bothered and praising jeebus that men are dying for their oil needs.

3. I hear you
I remember last fall after phone canvassing in the evening for Kerry trying to talk people into going to the polls and I would talk or email my brother, a Vietnam vet who lives in Florida among some of the most Republican scum in this country. My brother sounded like you, and he gave those Republicans hell where he worked. He wouldn't take shit off any of them. Because he went to Vietnam and they stayed at home and "supported the war".

The disgust I have for these people knows no bonds, and I'm not particularly a Kerry fan per se, but everytime I think of how these low-lifes lied against a man's bravery it makes me want to puke. It was an insult to every brave boy and girl who went over to that horrible war and an insult to every loving family at home who worried about them.

6. Actually this soldier's family will be given (if by Bush)
a coward who has violated every oath he has ever taken.

I actually had the opportunity to express my opinion (Bush AWOL) to the wife of a Swift Boat lying bastard. This was one day before they announced their lies to the world. I also invited the swift boat lying bastard to respond, which he never did.

7. I emailed them all summer long
and not one response. They can cater to right wing haters, but not answer an email from a 24 year Navy Veteran CPO who served in a combat zone? I know their priorities. I'd kick their asses if given the chance. They are scum and I hope they are reading this post today.

8. that yahoo story is bias as hell
this from st pete times tells of the family.....and no it isn't the wife getting the metal.its the son who blames bush!!!!!!!!

They never print what really was stated by David (the son).....the yahoo story.... pure pro war............the St Pete times..touches on David and his thoughts.

He blamed President Bush for sending his father to war and vowed to say something if he ever met him. "He would cop an attitude for no reason and talk back," said Jessica Smith, 18.

The anger is less acute now. On the bridge, David puts himself at 8.

"I understand more now," he said. "In the beginning I didn't understand anything. All I understood was Dad's dead. Now I know what the Medal of Honor is and what it means. I understand he did something great."

David is tired of answering questions about what the medal means to him. When the TV cameras come around, he usually gets lost. "It means something real good, but it doesn't bring back my dad," he said, recounting what he told a reporter from CBS's Early Show .

*********the yahoo story had bushs picture by it.........whats wrong with these ditors.....the soldier has many pictures to be printed........
