What happened yesterday - re: the nuclear option?
I was told that Catkiller Frist was going to try to put forward the destruction of the filibuster yesterday. Then, since I am a nightshifter, I slept away the day. Come last evening, I couldn't find any information on it. I'm guessing it didn't come down. Am I guessing correctly?

but my work hours also prevent me from watching c-span, and I'm "internet-challenged" at workplace...

googled the news on senate filibuster -- only stories are likened to the sword of damacles (sp?) hanging over the senate's head -- apparantly nothing "reportable" was done about it yesterday....

no surprise here -- http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/0405congress05.html
---snip--- Republicans want to resolve the matter before there is an opening on the Supreme Court.

maybe they realized that they would be "nuking their own foot".... naaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh
