Edited on Tue Apr-05-05 04:23 PM by OneTwentyoNine
This is in Wichita, sure its the same where you live. We just got nailed another .13 cents overnight,it went up .12 cents about the middle of last week.

Wonder how those mindless minimum wage lemmings that pulled a handle for Bush TWICE are making out? No wage increase now for 4+ YEARS and gas that is $1.00 PER GALLON higher than when Clinton was in office.

As they say about Kansas, you vote yourself into serfdom....

4. ...and planes haven't flown into any buildings recently.
Why are all bush-supporters such simple-minded turds?

3. We were at $1.89 a month ago and now are at $2.19 in Pittsburgh.
A guy I used to work with is going through the roof over gas prices. The company we ran puts decals on tractor-trailers. With the price of fuel, no one is decorating their trucks; and for those who are it costs a small fortune to get a crew to the site.

And he was so proud to have voted for shrubya.

5. Can congress act decisively and affect price controls and....
...production issues in a timely manner, since the president does not seem to care except to exploit pristine and unspoiled areas(i.e.ANWR)?

6. I went to two gas stations today
The Exxon near my house was $2.30 for REGULAR and $2.75 for Premium.

The Hess a littler further away was $2.25 for Regular and $2.70 for Premium.

Unbelievable.

Is currently at $2.49 for regular last time I filled up yesterday, probably more today. Welcome to Southern California, can I take your wallet?

10. The number of cars that can use E-85 is pathetic.......
http://www.cleanairchoice.org/outdoor/FlexibleFuelVehicles.asp

Total BS,EVERY vehicle that rolls off an assembly line in the US or slated for delivery in the US should be by law made to run on E-85. Right now that fuel is .32 cents per gallon cheaper and is renewable.

I checked to see if the 2005 company car my wife drives is on the list, hell no its not. This is outrageous given peak Oil,prices on the rise daily and stagnant wages.

11. Over here too in New York.
Average price is now 2.30, compared to about $2.04 about two weeks ago. It's so pathetic around here that when I spotted a gas station nearby still selling gas for 2.26, I filled up, even though I still had more than half a tank.

I wonder how things will change in my suburban area where three quarters of the people drive around SUVs everywhere.

12. In Germany, when they suffered from hyperinflation
in the 1920's, I've read that people would get paid twice a day so they could run out and buy things before the prices went up again.

I'm beginning to look at gas that way; if the tank is 1/2 full or less, I'd better fill up before the price goes up even higher.
