Bolten is danger. We are in trouble if he
is not challenged and defeated. I don't think he will be. We are in danger. Can we win anything?

6. That's what makes them idiots.....they can't seem to wake up on time!
I don't even watch TV anymore....other than TLC. I have just had it with the heavy handed propaganda! It's just too much. :argh:

OK...once in a blue moon I turn on Fox....just for a laugh (always start out thinking I can take it), but 2 minutes into it....I only end up screaming inside of my head and realizing that others are watching it and taking them seriously. That's when I just lose it and start

CNN and MSNBC are even worse than Fox, IMO...cause they pretend to be our friend.

and I also now know that even C-span is not our friend either.

13. We can't win anything because
our erstwhile leaders periodically talk tough while wink-wink proceeding to acquiesce in their actual votes. They don't consistently stand behind principles or the people.

7. if bolton is danger and richard lugar knows it but says at the end of
day two confirmation hearing that the hearing on whether or not to confirm bolton is not about a man's mismanagement of anger but about the need to reorganize the UN... and if knowing the danger that bolton is to the U.S. and to the WORLD, LUGAR wants to spin the purpose of the hearing in that fashion ... WHO is more of a danger to the U.S. BOLTON, OR LUGAR?

if the hearing were about the need to reorganize the U.N. would it not be a hearing called NEED TO REORGANIZE THE UNITED NATIONS?!

Lugar is a bush kiss ass and he is really not a true AMERICAN PATRIOT. his ass kissing and his money matters more to him than what happens to the U.S., THE U.N., AND THE REST OF THE WORLD.

8. If you
Remember why, according to Ritter, he was selected then you understand just the type of danger we are in. If you remember, Ritter put forth his opinion on these nominations: Rice to dismantle Justice Department and Bolton to take care of U.N. dismantling. There are other opinions on what the reasons and consequences of this appointment are/will be. From any perspective, it does represent danger. That said, Negropante is more dangerous in my opinion. Yet no one seemed to remember that while he was "telling the truth today" he had already lied to Congress during Iran Contra. We have entered the twilight zone, where charades are the business of the day.

14. why do you feel Bolton is more dangerous that other appointees?
I agree he is a very poor choice to represent the US at the UN, but given the Bush outrageous policies and appointees, how is this one worse?

the UN and Bolton is their tool. He has nothing but disdain for the UN. I'm frankly tired of every country in this world hating the US for their (which means "our" sadly) b.s. policies.
Edit for clarity.

16. He certainly should be challenged.
But absent some as yet unreported scandal I don't see how he can be defeated. Being a jerk of a boss doesn't rise to scandal level that would force repukes to bail on him.
