If you remember, Ritter put forth his opinion on these nominations: Rice to dismantle Justice Department and Bolton to take care of U.N. dismantling. There are other opinions on what the reasons and consequences of this appointment are/will be. From any perspective, it does represent danger. That said, Negropante is more dangerous in my opinion. Yet no one seemed to remember that while he was "telling the truth today" he had already lied to Congress during Iran Contra. We have entered the twilight zone, where charades are the business of the day.
