1. It is fucking scary! The pope at least hated Bush |

My only comfort in all of this is that the Vatican won't like Bushco stepping on their toes.
I pray for a semi-decent pope.

instead of being Pope for 34 days. I hope a decent Pope is chosen absent the neocon influence. I also love Israel but I renounced Zionism years ago.

He had a lot of big ideas, that Smiling Pope. Rumors abounded after his death that he was offed.

Above all, I believe in the Holy Spirit, whom I hope is at work in the institutional Church (she's going to be awfully busy, though).

It's sad that an international church would lower itself to the politics of a meglamaniac and his thugs. Isn't the Pope supposed to represent god or Jesus or the horse he rode in on instead of representing some national power they agree with?

7. I posted this last week, I put it in the PNAC forum too |

Just one more piece of the puzzle for the neocons. They need a Pope who will be willing to allow "just wars" or in truth, look the other away when another war is started for oil.
While * was in Rome, he had a private meeting with American cardinals. Wonder what they discussed?

Might some look into the background of Opus Dei? There are so many dots that might connect into a spiderweb of mythic proportions...As the Shadow said "Who knows what goes on in the hearts of men?" (IIRC)

Isn't it very conservative, I'm rather ignorant of its dogma.

10. Hasn't Madsen been discredited enough? |
|
I can't believe anyone would take him seriously. Just because his slant is from the left and he says what people wish to believe doesn't make it real.

the sky was blue, I'd call NOAA to check before believing it. If he said the Pope was still dead, I'd ask a priest.
