What's so big that it has to be covered up? Carter/Baker Election Commish |
|
Edited on Tue Apr-19-05 08:29 AM by KoKo01
Why all of a sudden this strange mostly "controlled" Election Commission has sprung up? And who are the "Private Donors" who contributed to it?
I don't have the link but several articles and Brad Blog have said that "Private Donors" contributed to this and it seems to have sprung up out of nowhere and is covered on C-Span yesterday.
When you have both Carter and Baker working together what does it mean? And that John Conyers was not asked to present any information when he has been working on this in the Senate with so many others in the Black Caucus. How do we find the names of the "Private Donors?"
Any speculation?

1. I can't imagine Carter being a part of a cover-up. |

Baker - hell yes, but Carter has way too much intergrity to do something like that. I would suspect he would resign first if it got to be that bad.

5. Carter & Baker, a most unlikely pair |
|
What a SHAM and what a SHAME! My take on that whole dog-and-pony show is: Cooked up by rethugs to promote centralized (state) voter registration rolls, classic mis-direction technique. Why the emphasis on fraud, etc.? So THEY can control who votes. Diverts attention from the "who counts the votes decides everything'" (J. Stalin) issue, which, unless we and Carter and Conyers yell loud enough, will guarantee rigged elections ad infinitum. How J.A. Baker III can sit there with a straight face really angers me. Oh...wait...he "doesn't know..." I personally think Carter was somehow cajoled into giving this panel a veneer of credibility. I hope enough material has been sent to Carter, and thoroughly digested, to have him take a more aggressive posture at the next meeting. Maybe he's being coy now and will come out swinging. One can only hope, or wish...
