You can e-mail Senator Doctor Frist and Congressman Doctor Weldon with your health problems. Apparently, these guys are more than willing to give free doctorly advice to people, even those outside their constituency. So "The Nation" has set up a page to help you do just that.

Seems a bunch of radical clerics are hosting a hate-filled telecast at a fundamentalist church here in Louisville, KY in efforts to effect change in the political process of our government. We all know the dangers of mixing religion and politics. I mean, we're about to invade Iran to cleanse them of their own radical clerics.

Dear Doctors Frist and Weldon,

Last month, you were able to diagnose Terri Schiavo’s illness by watching a short videotape. It is great to know that physicians in Congress are willing to provide their services free to Americans who aren’t even their constituents, especially at a time when nearly 50 million of us are uninsured. I was hoping you might be able to diagnose my medical problem.

I'm quite concerned about the ever-growing federal budget deficit and the burden this will have upon my children and grandchildren. It doesn't seem to bother you and most of the other "spend and borrow" Republicans though. Maybe you can prescribe for me the same happy pills you all seem to be enjoying. Lord knows you must be taking something that inures you to the suffering Republican policies are causing across America. If you send me a prescription for anti-psychotics, I will need to get a second opinion. I really don't think I need something that strong; although I think Tom Delay could use a little Risperdal or something to help him with that temper of his.

Last month, you were able to diagnose Terri Schiavo’s illness by watching a short videotape.

Since the fall of 2000 I have been experiencing chronic pain in my extreme lower back and posterior region, and it has been getting progressively worse since last November.

Whenever I watch the news regarding the Social Security "crisis," the "radical" judiciary, and those pesky non-existent WMD's, the pain becomes quite severe. I'm certain that you should be able to diagnose the cause of my discomfort from your offices in Washington.
