Bush uses Saudi as stooge in photo-op about oil...
He lectured the Saudi about producing more oil...uh-huh. Yep, it's the Saudi's fault. They need to bring down the price of gasoline. Yep, it's their fault. It's not Dubya's fault. Do you get it yet? It's the Saudi's fault.

But, the problem is not with supply. There is an adequate supply right now. This is just more propaganda from this White House. I thought the Saudis were smarter?

3. Here's why Bush did all the hand holding and almost kissing...
Bush/Rove didn't want questions about OIL...so they gave the press and public something else to talk about...AND IT WORKED. I've heard little about what was accomplished during their meeting. Rove et al is so damn slimy and evil. They know just how to control the media. We all thought it was great when ALL the media discussed the hand holding...but we was wrong! It was a clever setup. We been duped again. Gotta hand it to Rove. He finds a way to change the subject anytime he wants.

2. The hand holding?
Does anyone think this was attempt to make GW look stupid? I know it isn't unusual in arabic society, but are there any pictures of the Prince holding hands and strolling with other heads of state?

Those pictures were used for quite a few jokes yesterday. They really undercut his appearance of standing up for america. People are really mad about gas prices. Strolling thru the bluebonnets and holding hands wasn't right the photo op.

5. Read that this helps the gov't keep the economy afloat. The higher
the price of oil goes, the more money comes into the US because oil has to be purchased in dollars. And since we own the Iraq oil, all that money is going where ever in the world it is going now. Sure isn't for rebuilding Iraq or for Iraqi jobs. Anyone know where all that oil money is going? Just to Halliburton?
