Bring back Mayor Nagin. I like what he has to say. I like the way
he thinks. Get these Chertoffs off the air. They are clueless. Chertoff is wrong. I was so grateful to hear the passionate remarks from the Mayor of New Orleans yesterday. He was absolutely in the right. He should get a civic sainthood award for speaking up and speaking out against this pathetic, embarrassment of a response to a disaster that was exacerbated by Bush and his failure of an administration.

1. Chertoff's prodedure of formal application for emergency relief is a riot
Let's replace him with people possessing a central nervous system and who are living in the real world.

2. My Republican friend said his interview was....
" A thing of beauty." "the best 'cut though the political BS speech' every.

And he's a big Bush lover.

4. He said that about Mayor Nagin? I agree but I'm surprised a
Bushie would think so. Odd.

3. The way it looks to me virtually nothing was happening until the
Mayor said "get off your asses" and shamed them into doing something.

5. Yep, that's how I see it. Mayor Nagin spoke the truth and loud...
then all the sudden, Bush comes to visit...go figure.
